WEGHSTEEN & BILLIET BELGIAN BANK
Originally issued in a presentation box. Weghsteen & Billiet, a Belgian bank with a 128-year history, underwent changes in 1992 when it merged with competitors, and Marc Weghsteen introduced his son, Vincent, as his successor. They had plans to expand but were embroiled in a fraud case that led to the arrest of three executives. In 2012, Vincent Weghsteen acquired the Ghent family Driege's 50% stake. Recently, the National Bank of Belgium initiated an investigation into alleged malpractices following a complaint. Source
